Strong Wind
Wind speed today was 15~18mph, gusting up to 30 at times. So lots of windsurfers (and a few kiters) left work early to take advantage. I only had strength for a couple of runs, but I used my rest time to take some pictures. My new personal speed record is just shy of 25mph! Click the photo below to see my favorites from the album:

awesome! Looks like some crazy wind! Bet your arms are hurting.
Yep... I tired out very quickly. I had been planning to buy a smaller sail earlier in the year, but both people with nice sails up on the "for sale" list had already sold them when I called. So for now, I just use lots of extra downhaul and flatten the sail as much as I think I need to. It makes the top third really floppy. Still, it isn't as nice as having a smaller, ligher, well-profiled sail!
